The forum takes place in 2 days from 25 to 26 November 2020 in the city of Hanoi. Vietnam Logistics Forum is the largest annual event in the logistics service sector hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade from 2013 to present.
Following the success, with the permission and direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the World Bank in Vietnam and the People’s Committee of Hanoi to organize the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2020 in 2 days in Hanoi. .
Through 7 times of organization, the Forum has become a reliable address, strongly expressing the voice of the business community, state management agencies and related objects in the field of logistics; Constantly establishing and strengthening links between stakeholders. From the Forum’s recommendations, the action plan to improve competitiveness and develop logistics services until 2025 has been signed by the Prime Minister. In addition, the regular organization of logistics market surveys in many countries; periodically publish Vietnam Logistics Report … is also the specific results of the Forum.
The forum will be attended by comrades: Hanoi Party Committee Secretary Vuong Dinh Hue, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and leaders of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance key, World Bank in Vietnam, Australian Embassy and numerous representatives of state management agencies, associations, businesses, logistics training institutions.

This year’s forum is the 8th forum, organized in the context of many new features. The implementation and signing of new-generation free trade agreements such as CPTPP, EVFTA, and RCEP require enterprises to make efforts to improve their competitiveness. Meanwhile, the problem of logistics costs has been raised for many years but is still the bottleneck. The COVID-19 epidemic had a heavy impact on businesses in general and logistics service businesses in particular. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is working with ministries, agencies and localities to focus on solving difficulties, boosting production and export of goods, thereby making effective use of new FTAs, reducing damage caused by diseases and quickly. restore growth momentum.
Cutting logistics costs is a topic that the Government, ministries, localities and businesses are interested in to help improve the competitiveness of businesses in the context of deep international economic integration, at the same time. For that reason, Vietnam Logistics Forum 2020 chose the topic “Cut logistics costs, improve competitiveness in the context of international economic integration” for the Plenary Session.
