Pangasius export to China reached a turnover of more than 385 million USD
According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (Vasep), in the first 11 months of 2020, the total value of pangasius exports to China and Hong Kong (China) reached USD 385.9 million, accounting for 34.4% of total pangasius export value.

Textile and garment exports to the EAEU are in danger of exceeding the regulated threshold
On November 23, information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that, just received a notice from the European Economic Community (EEC) warning that Vietnam’s garment and textile products enjoy preferential export tariffs under the Agreement. Free trade between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (VN – EAEU FTA) is at risk of exceeding the threshold for imposing a defense measure in 2020 as prescribed. Specifically, Vietnam’s women’s dresses, dresses and clothing exports to the EAEU in the period from January to September reached 94.4% of the prescribed threshold; suits, jackets, blazers, trousers 72.0% and shirts, pullovers and blouses reached 71.5% of the respective thresholds for 2020. Therefore, according to Article 2.10 of VN-EAEU FTA, which are in danger of being subjected to safeguard measures when imported into Europe, may be subject to most favored nation treatment (MFN) tariffs for a period of six or nine months.
