Import Procedures for Induction Cooktops

Register for Quality Inspection and Conformity Announcement

Businesses can register for quality inspection through the national single window system. Depending on where the customs declaration is made, businesses register in the corresponding province or city. When goods arrive at a port or airport, the customs declaration should be made at the customs office managing that port or airport.

Customs Clearance Procedures

After preparing all the necessary documents and completing the customs clearance procedures, businesses submit the document package to the Customs Office for the clearance of goods.

Post-Clearance Inspection

Since induction cooktops directly affect the health and safety of users, products must undergo careful inspection before being sold. Businesses need to sample the products for QCVN9 testing (valid for 3 years) and QCVN4 testing (per batch).
The time for quality inspection and testing of the equipment usually takes 7-10 days from the sampling date. For goods that have previously been certified, subsequent import batches only need to undergo QCVN4 testing.
